2. Scope

This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit the public VRGN Virtual website or contact its operator. Membership, bookings and pilot accounts are provided through the separate vAMSYS platform.

3. Hosting and technical delivery

To deliver and secure the website, technical connection data may be processed, including IP address, date and time, requested resource, referrer, browser and operating system. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interests are reliable delivery, technical security and abuse prevention.

4. Browser storage

The website uses local and session storage only to remember that the cookie information and virtual-airline notice have been acknowledged. These entries are not used for analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking. Details are listed in the cookie policy.

5. vAMSYS live operations

The live map and operations board retrieve read-only operational flight data from vAMSYS through a server-side API connection. The public view may display a flight number and callsign, route, airports, aircraft type and registration, operational timestamps, network status, position and current progress. It does not display pilot email addresses or account credentials. Live responses are not written to a website database and the API credential remains on the server.

6. External services

This website links to vAMSYS, VATSIM, the Virtual Airline Alliance and other aviation services. Screenshots and logos are hosted locally rather than embedded as third-party widgets. When you follow an external link, the terms and privacy information of that provider apply.

7. Recipients and transfers

Personal data is disclosed only where required to operate the website, answer a request, comply with law or protect legitimate interests. VRGN Virtual does not sell personal data and does not use it for advertising.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when the website, hosting setup, integrations or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page.
